This is the 1st in my comprehensive 457,922 part series chronicaling the bathrooms of the mighty nation I call home. Huell Howser eat your heart out.

This first one comes from a 'Flying J' truck stop on the 15, close to Las Vegas.

This might be of particular intrest to the ladies. Condom machines like these adorn the walls of every truck stop, many bathrooms and occaisionally at a trendy night club. For 75 cents, you can sheath your pecker in many vibrantly colored and textured jimmys. What really sets this machine apart from the rest is the 'God Bless America' sticker in the lower left corner. Classy. I can't speak for the rest of the guys, but I'd sooner put my willy in a meat grinder than one of these truck stop rubbers. God only knows how long they have been sitting there in the heat, and I'd bet you my eye teeth that these banana peels have not undergone the scrutiney of the FDA.

Our next feature is from a biker bar in Clinton, Montana. The name of the bar is 'Testicle Festival', which coincidenatally is the site of the nations largest 'Mountain Oyster' (Bull Balls) eating contest, hosted by Hustler magazine. Here is a pic for those who think I'm making this up.

Anyway, I was quite surprized to see a genuine lolcat on the men's room wall of this masculine Mecca.

Depending upon your side of the sift lolcat war, this is either a triumph or sign of the apocalypse. Yes, the most manly of men, besides kp and rottenseed of course, are now smitten with lolcats, trading in their dirty limericks for the tiny furry hellspawned demons who have sent countless sifters back into their mothers wombs. I can only hope that this picture has not cause any strokes, heart attacks, suicides or GCWD's. My heart felt apologies to the relatives of the deceased.

The next pic comes from a McDonalds in Kalispel, Montana, where they offer a very unique service for their patrons.

Our final picture for this installment is something glorious to behold. It comes from the interior of a randy bar called the Bulldog Saloon. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present, the wall of porn!

In honor of women's suffrage, the ladies bathroom is covered with cock pictures. If I get enough requests from the women of VS and blankfist, I'll have Issy snap a pic for you. Also, much to my dismay, there is no website at the address listed in the pic.

Its a pretty handy service, especially considering you can also track your friends activity. And its compatible with Twhirl. http://www.twhirl.org/

So if you use multiple services and connect with multiple people over thsoe multiple services, its a great tool to use.

Some of the YouTubers are branching out into live broadcasts. On BlogTV viewers can post questions from a chat room. Here's a show that starts on Thursdays at 7 p.m. EST and Sundays at 9 p.m. EST. SuperEd86 started a little early tonight. Prior broadcasts are available if you scroll down. He broadcasts from Portland, Oregon. The chat room comments appear at the bottom of the player when you watch. This is his channel on YouTube.

His schtick is bit in the Jim Carrey direction. He's probably calmer live than in his YouTube comedy videos. Of the videos I've watched thus far, he mentions that he was born in Latvia and that his parents spoke Russian around him when he was child.

There is also a site with a similar service called Ustream.tv. BlogCatalog has a channel on the site. Being a participant on that site, I’ve tuned into some broadcasts on BC’s channel. So far, Erica O'Grady has broadcast four discussions about social media. Again there is a chatroom for viewers to ask questions.

Another site I found, because of a YouTuber, is Stickcam. This site is geared to those folks who enjoy webcam interaction. Thus, I really haven't explored the site much. Help walks you through the setup.

The ruling comes as part of Google's legal battle with Viacom over allegations of copyright infringement.

Back from the Vog

My first day back at work from our 3 week holiday and I'm feeling - not too bad actually.

Kona was great, but it's been suffering from vog (volcanic fog) for the last few months. The whole place is a bit hazy and rich in sulphur dioxide (yum). It was still beautiful and a great time.

Everywhere we stayed had wireless access - so I never really took a break from the Sift. [Cue Persephone rolling her eyes]

Every time I go back to the US I feel a little more like a stranger in my home country. This time it was the little things that left an impression. There's so much water in American toilet bowls! It lets you see your leavings in gory 3D detail as it swishes down.

Also, Cadillac Escalades ... people who buy those - what are they thinking? Isn't a "luxury off-road vehicle" kind of a contradiction? If I paid 50K for an SUV I would not stray an inch off the pavement.

major purchases included clothes and a 7 piece set of Kirkland stainless steel cookware from Costco. I love that place.
